Grady – Gigi’s Rescue Pals – Shelter Dogs for Adoption
Hello there! My name is Grady. I was brought to McKamey in December because my family could not afford to feed me. I have not had a lot of socialization because I was always an outside dog –so things like stairs, doorways and ringing phones are a big surprise to me. When you introduce me to another dog, please be patient as I need to time to get acquainted. I live to please–love to give kisses and love to play with toys. I love to be petted but still am a shy and timid guy.
I need an experienced dog person or family who will be patient as I blossom in a home where I can be nurtured–I have soooo much to give back as I discover the wonderful life of an indoor dog. Who knew dogs got to sleep inside on soft beds, and watch TV and simply enjoy the kindness of people around them as they give you a pat on the head and a toy or two to play with. Small toddlers might be too much for me right now but older kids who know how to behave around a timid dog will love me.
Once I fall in love with you, I do experience some separation anxiety. So I need someone understanding to work with me.
