Get Outside This Fall with Your Dog!

October is here, temps have cooled down & the leaves are soon to be changing colors all over the Scenic City.

If you haven’t seen Chattanooga in the fall, it is one of the biggest perks the Barley Bones crew experiences living in the mountain filled region. Along with the amazing foliage and seemingly weekly festivals all over the area, fall is an amazing time to get outside and adventure with your favorite four-legged friends.

So what is there to do?

1) Go for a Hike:  Take in those gorgeous changing leaves and hit the trail!

2) Jump in a Leaf Pile: It might take a little work to rake them all up, but making a leaf pile and letting Fido have a romp is a Fall must. Plus think of how adorable the photos can be!

3) Hit the Dog Park: If trails aren’t quite your thing, a trek to the local dog park is a great way for everyone to stretch their legs and not have to burn up under the sweltering summer sun.

4) Find a Dog Friendly Event: Take a look around and see what events and festivals are going on in your area. Here in Chattanooga, there are fun events such as the Paws in the Park to look forward to.

With all of these great things to do in the Fall, all that’s left to do is pack up the dog and family and dive in.

If you have any other great Fall traditions, leave us a comment and let us in on how you have fun!
