About a Purveyor of Spent Grain: Dakota Cunningham

We interviewed the newest member to join the Barley Bones team and we wanted you all to get a chance to know how lucky we feel to be in the presence of such a unique, good-hearted fella. There’s never a bad day at the office with him around… (And I’m not just saying this because he may read this!).

What do you do when we’re not looking aka when you’re not working?

I’m never working. When you aren’t looking I’m giving 110%.

What’s you’re favorite lunch under $10 bucks, because ever since you came on board we’ve been supporting the local economy by not packing our lunches!

Definitely the Mini Mojo Enchiladito from Mojo Burrito

If you owned a dog to feed Barley Bones to, what type of dog would it be?

I love Australian Shepherds.

What is the most challenging part of being Manager of Production?

Oh man, remembering all the ‘little things’ to do.

What is your ‘goto’ beer at the moment, or should I not speak of beer because of that diet you said you were going on soon?

If I weren’t on a diet I would be drinking Highland’s Gaelic Ale.

If you had to life off Barely Bones, what flavor would you never get tired of?

My favorite flavor of Barley Bones is Cheddar Cheese!

What were you doing before you became a part of the Barley Bones team?

I was a car salesman at Carmax.

What’s your favorite way to relieve stress (not caused by work)?

Playing and listening to music

Tell us about your alter ego “Uncle Stacy”?

Uncle Stacy is a character that I become while playing for a local singer/song writer named Nick Lutsko. Uncle Stacy is a desert dwelling medicine man.

Who is you favorite band, and why is it not Umphrey’s Mcgee?

It is funny you assumed that my favorite band isn’t Umphrey’s Mcgee because it IS Umphrey’s Mcgee. I love Umphrey’s Mcgee because of the diversity of the music that they play and how well they play it. They are truly masters of their craft and more often than not their beats really hit the spot.

We know you play Frisbee golf, how did you get started and why should we all play?

I first played Disc Golf with my buddy Jeff and everyone should play because it is a great way to relax and get outside.

THANKS FOR PLAYING DAKOTA AKA UNCLE STACY!
